What to do in Val di Fassa when it rains

MUSEUMS: You can visit the Ladin de Fascia Museum, to discover Ladin traditions and culture. As well as the riches of the Ladin lands, you can visit the Marmolada Museum, the highest in Europe, situated at an altitude of 2950 m, as well as war exhibitions in Moena, Fedaia and Pordoi, and the Mineralogical Museum in Vigo.

RELAXATION: If you want to take advantage of the bad weather to relax, you will find wellness centres which are perfect for you, such as the Eghes Wellness Health Centre and SPA in Canazei, and the Terme Dolomia and QC Terme in Pozza di Fassa.

INDOORS ACTIVITIES/SPORT: If you don’t want to miss out on fun and physical activity, you will find plenty of options for all ages. You can try climbing at the ADEL indoor centre in Campitello di Fassa, or glide on skates at the Palazzo del Ghiaccio which is open in the summer and winter in Alba di Canazei. At the Dòlaondes Acquatic Centre in Canazei and the Vidor Acquapark in Pozza, even the youngest of children can have fun with the swimming pools and water-slides.

SHOPPING: Val di Fassa is full of shops selling typical produce and local specialities, as well as handicrafts and clothes. Don’t miss the opportunity to do a little shopping in the towns of Canazei and Moena.
