History

The Hotel Costabella has been operating since 1945 and is currently run by our director, Patrizio Prandi, a descendant of the hotel’s original owner, Patrizio Deville. The hotel was born as a refuge for lovers of the  mountains, unspoiled relaxation, and the isolated and charming atmosphere. Nowadays it provides a perfect connection between the nearby Moena, the Val di Fassa and the San Pellegrino Pass.

The name Costabella is a tribute to the legendary Costabella peak, which towers behind the hotel and provides spectacular panoramas, particularly in the winter season.

Over the years, we have carried out various re-structuring works, although the presence of larch wood remains a permanent feature. Larch is a strong wood, perfect for the creation of supporting structures, while providing a warm and cosy atmosphere. It is no coincidence that these are also the characteristics of the heart of the hotel, our Patrizio, who personally welcomes and advises our guests, always accompanied by his lovely bulldog, Dante.
