History
The hotel was built in 1935 by Mr. Patrizio Deville. He and his brother were the first inhabitants of Passo San Pellegrino, because of the difficulty of transport and communications and the daily life which required a decidely pioneering spirit.
The hotel first opened its doors in 1938 but due to the war was not fully operative until 1945.
In the post-war years Passo San Pellegrino was very popular with the more privilexged classes especially those guests who enjoyed being in close contact with nature and who took advantage of the long unspoiledski-slopes and the friendly welcome extended by the Management.
The increase in the number of tourists visiting Passo San Pellegrino and staying at the hotel is closely linked to Mr. Deville, who succeeded in giving a rel personal touch and leave an indelible mark on tourism both in the hotel and in the area itself and whose presence was greatly appreciated right up to 1979.
From 1974 onwards the hotel has been run by his niece, who together with her husband carried out restructuring work the following year ant then subseguently in 1980, 1983 and 1992.
